What is the Humber Environmental Network?
Many SME's have waste product disposal problems and all use energy in one form or another. According to recent research by British Gas Business (BGB), the majority have serious energy concerns but need guidance on how to reduce waste.
- Commercial gas prices have risen by at least 40% over the past six months threatening the viability of many small businesses and both electricity and oil are following similar patterns of price increase.
- Landfill tax is certain to increase putting pressure on companies to reduce production waste or to develop more innovative ways of disposing of waste materials.
Business Link Humber can provide advice and practical assistance to local SME's in addressing their environmental and energy challenges and reducing production, energy and water waste, together with any associated process inefficiencies in order to save at least 20% of annual energy and other waste costs per company.
Where are you now and are you losing out?
