What is the Humber Environmental Network?
The Humber Environmental Network (HEN) was launched in 2008 and initially ran by Business Link Humber.
Subject to final confirmation of funding, the network will be re-launched in July 2009 and will be ran by a collaboration of:
· The Environmental Technologies Centre of Industrial Collaboration(ETCIC) a part of the University of Hull
· Williamsons, the solicitors based in Hull
· Humber Resource Efficiency Centre (HREC) headed up by Terry Lander
Through a number of events, seminars and training sessions across the sub-region we will provide advice and practical assistance to all local companies addressing their environmental and energy challenges and reducing production, energy and water waste, together with any associated process inefficiencies in order to save at least 20% of annual energy and other waste costs per company.
We will outline more details of plans and benefits of HEN membership at a number of launch events in July of this year. To register your interest and receive further details when available, please e-mail David Calvert on
d.calvert@hull.ac.uk
David will also be able to advise on support which may be available ahead of July, or alternatively you can contact business link on info@businesslinkyorkshire.co.uk or call 0845 048 048
