What is the Humber Environmental Network?
The Humber Environmental Network (HEN) was launched in 2008 and initially ran by Business Link Humber.
The network was re-launched in July 2009 and is run by a collaboration of:
· The Environmental Technologies Centre of Industrial Collaboration(ETCIC) a part of the University of Hull
· Williamsons, the solicitors based in Hull
· Humber Resource Efficiency Centre (HREC) headed up by Terry Lander
Through a number of events, seminars and training sessions across the sub-region HEN provides advice and practical assistance to all local companies addressing their environmental and energy challenges and reducing production, energy and water waste, together with any associated process inefficiencies in order to save at least 20% of annual energy and other waste costs per company.

Following a brief hiatus after the general election, the Humber Environmental Network is pleased to announce its next series of events before the summer break.
CJ Express, HEN and Hilary Devey Celebrate
Hull-based haulier and HEN member CJ Express has been awarded an environmental management standard, ISO 14001, for its green initiatives, which was presented by the inspirational CEO of Pall-Ex, Hilary Devey.
