An introduction to Environmental Management Systems, providing an overview of ISO 14001, covering some of the key elements in detail. 20th March, The Deep Business Centre, Hull.

The Humber Environmental Network has organised a FREE half day workshop in response to businesses expressing an interest in Environmental Management Systems.  The above workshop will aim to:-


o        Increase your awareness of environmental issues
o        Highlight business pressures and the benefits of adopting environmental management best practice
o        Gain an introduction to Environmental Management Systems; the structure, key concepts and most importantly how to implement one.
o        Give you the opportunity to take part in an interactive, practical workshop which will help you to identify environmental issues and gain the knowledge to develop an environmental policy for your company (including an overview of the elements of ISO 14001).


The workshop will also include module notes on environmental issues and legislation, work task handout, and actual action plan templates.
