17 Jan 2008 - Free training for the Hopsitality Industry
Managing Energy, a one day course, recognised by the University of Leeds is fully funded by the BREW programme.
The cost of energy has soared in recent years and is unlikely to fall significantly, because world demand exceeds supply. Companies therefore know that they need to reduce their energy consumption, but there is rarely one simple solution for achieving this.
The best way to control your company’s energy use is the
operator’s finger on the off switch. But hearts and minds will need to be won over first. The Managing Energy 1 day course will show your employees simple steps they can take to help your company save money …...and help the planet.
Tailored for you. The training can be delivered as either a full day or two half days to suit your convenience, as long as there at least 3 attendees. It can be arranged for either on your site or off site.
Those receiving the training and successfully completing a
multichoice test at the end will receive a certificate recognised by the University of Leeds.
Course Funding Full funding for the training (up to a maximum of £1,000) is available from the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) Programme until the end of March 2008 for organisations in Yorkshire and Humber.
Free Training
The cost of the training is £200 per person plus VAT up to a maximum of £1,000 per training day. However, with a 100% grant from the Business Resource and Efficiency Improvement Grants programme this training is absolutely free in Yorkshire and Humber until 31 March 2008 (or until funds run out).
